So the debate ensues about eating. I am delighted to put up any posts that stirs debate. It is good to have a different perspective from everyone. However, when it comes to eating. The debate as I see it is which is more important eating “right” or training. There is a great understanding between men and women that I believe we can all agree, “garbage in – garbage out”. This goes for the mind – and the body. It is not a judgmental statement it simply elementary. Love your body- Peace all,Vic
@ThePrincessMoonbeam
Totally agree
dude, you look cute but please, change the haircut!
@bigyelsewnnoc
My experience tells me that we are overtrained- each muscle group- once per week is fine for anyone . I like your idea of a heavy – med and light workout- this will spare the body and really be beneficial in the long run. However, if you rotate the heavy – me and light – so they fall on different days- that would be ideal .
Vic
I’ve read that beginners gain most exercising each muscle three times a week, while more experienced athletes only need to work each muscle twice a week. You work each muscle once/week, and I like that.
Is that applicable for someone who has not been doing this for a pretty long time?
I grouped exercises: back/tri, chest/bi, shoulder/legs, (core w/e) .
3 times a week, I do 1 group heavy (4 exercise/muscle) 1 group medium (2e/m) and one light (1e/m). Better to do them each once a week?
@vicsnatural so basically the technique you pray for at the preacher curls video
@h2soccergod
East Coast friend. Vic
@Elwood19901
Yes- use a barbell- same technique. elbows in front of you- not at the sides really. Too much shoulder. You have to extend your arms- so many guys not extending- not getting results. Same technique- don’t have to come up all way. Feel Rather you do the work at the bottom than at at the top. Peace, Vic
@arsenalmanic Will do friend. Vic
@arsenalmanic Will do – I have a great friend who is a pro.
Peace, Vic
are you located in LA?
I watched Larry Scott educating adepts in the gym- he had some good ideas but I did`nt understand his cheating techniques.
also please do a video on supplement. Which are worth taking, that will actually improve your body, not harm your body & is not just money down the drain ????
your videos and philoshy are unique , make sense and very informative
another problem i have is they are too short, and your not making enough of them
do a vid on your thoughts on nutrition/training techniques,and more body workouts.
thank you byyyyeee
Hey Vic, I’d love to hear your opinion about barbell curls. I sticked to your Dumbbell CUrls for a while now but I want to change my programm a little. What would your advice be for curling with a barbell ?
- Would you raise the bar just as far up as you do with the dumbbells ?
- Would you again concentrate on feeling the biceps before you even move the weight ?
-Would it be just as effective as curling Dumbbells ?
Peace
I will achieve that body soon…
yay, you smiled
Like at 63 I will have to go do this
@tatnrf001 If you don’t let your body rest, the lactic acid released into the body will actually fatigue you more, and tear away at good muscle.
great exercises …hope to use allot of this in my own training …keep up the hard work !!
Thanks for the cool ideas
I like the bags hooked up to the TRX!!!
